I'm still alive

I havent posted anything because nothing exciting has happened. My friend Snapp has decided to join the army. I decided finally it is probably a good thing for him, but I have a feeling that he will be a life'er. Because he doesnt have motivation to do things on his own. The army will give that to him, but when he gets out, he won't have that motivation anymore and become unmotivated again. He told me I was the only one that gave a good reason not to join (besides his mother and her love for him).

Work is slow because that weather has turned unseasonably warm. Unlike Minnesota with their highs in the negative 20's! I've gotten out to ski and I'm enjoying it. WAY better than snowboarding! I'm getting my turns down and can actually look like I kinda know what I'm doing! After I get a little more practice in, I get my reward! It's a new ski outfit! I really really wanted this jacket and my friend Shannon told me that I could only get it if I went out skiing. I've been skiing 3 times this week and plan on going out this weekend! Plus my sister is coming the end of January and I wanna go out with her. So I PROMISE to post a pic of my new outfit. Just to let you all know...the jacket retail is 300 dollars and the pants are 150. I got the jacket pro deal for 90 and I'll get the pants at shop discount of 90 also. OOOO and I got a pair of goggles retail 85 for 20. I love where I work!

Otherwise I'm trying to do something exciting these next days off. It's between snowmobiling or taking a quick road trip to New Mexico to pick up my friends dog, Kona. I miss her!

yeah, yeah...so I'm a slacker...

I'm super sorry I have not been better about this but to let you know my schedule. I wake up at 5 am. Meet a van pool at 6:15 (this also means that I have to walk 5-10 minutes to meet it, my car is totally snowed in, I even slid it down a hill to a better parking spot) work by 8 am. Work till 5. Vanpool home about 630 if I am lucky, eat, sleep, do it again. I am a pooped kid. Plus my computer time is spent on job applications for next summer.blah blah blah. Any way I will add a few pics.

I do want my friends in Florida to know I miss them much!

I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Kingdom and fed some birds...notice the one on my head...good thing it didn't poo!

These are my roomies. Drache (the dog) and Yhetti (the cat). They like to attack each other at 2 in the morning in my room.


The Christmas Day storm! We got 3 feet of snow, the road closed, oodles of accidents and I even saw a snowplow tipped over....they just don't run like they do in Minnesota!

I made it!!

I'm in Fresno, California now! I arrived Saturday evening! I had a great adventure coming here! I stopped in Pensacola to see my friend, Bonny. I stopped in San Antonio and saw Brynn and her army buddies! I stayed a week in Phoenix with my sis's in-laws and met up with my sister there for thanksgiving and finally made to to Fres-YES!

I will post some pics later. I gotta find my camera cord and get my computer hooked to internet but it will happen, probably this weekend when I see my sis again in San Diego!

No work yet, no snow. Probably not till the 13th ish. Sucks, but I prepared myself for it this time and have a little savings to play with! I miss my Florida Friends very much but they all called me the entire way here, but I am very happy to see my Cali friends and have been spending my nights at my "vacation home" in Fresno. I guess I didn't get enough of sleeping on couches during my trip I decided to spend a few more on the couch at Garretts!

Going away.....

So my friends threw me a going away party! It was wonderful and sad all at the same time. Maddy and Nick brought veggie meatballs (yum!) and apple dessert, Luanne made the chicken and ribs, Russ brought champagne (good stuff too!) and Jon, Julie, and Hiram brought their love! I will miss them all so much! Thursday night will be my final night here...

So I know I have been slacking on the blogs I'm so sorry. I've been really busy, enjoying life and hanging out with everyone! I have a few pics to share of my last few weekends off here in Florida. Yes, I said last weeks. I will once again be moving back to Cali to the resort. All my resort friends are excited...all my florida friends are sad...BUT the memories will last forever.

So a 2 weeks ago I went to the Epcot Center of Disney! I visited my friend Kathy and her family. I love going there because her hubby works for Disney which equals free tickets for me! It was a food and wine festival and it was yummy. I had wine from France, Sangria from Morocco, Boboti from South Africa and Manzi from Istanbul. It was delicious! We also went on a few rides!

Last thursday, my friend Alicia and I went to the beach! It was 11am and we had a cooler full of champagne and oj for mimosas! It was the perfect temp, the perfect breeze, the perfect company, and the perfect drink! We stayed for 3 and a half hours! It was a good thing we left when we did because our tummies were a little burnt!

OOOOO...and I got a manicure AND pedicure! I have my snowflakes painted on and now I'm ready for winter!
