My Trip Home!!

Well, I went to Minnesota, saw my aunt, my parents, and of course my friends from Winona!

I went to see a man made cave in Stillwater, MN. It was used for a brewery way back in the day. Now the best part of this cave was that they used the fresh water to make the beer. Well, at the end of the tour we got a chance to taste the water. Of course I was the first one to jump up and do that! I reached down and cupped my hand and brought the water up to my lips. I smacked them a few times and then grabbed my throat and gagged. You should have seen the look on the guides face! I started laughing because I scared her so bad! Oh yeah, I worked in a cave so therefore that gives me the right to mess with other guides! hahahaha!!



I also got to visit my friends Kim and Tim for a bit. I went to Winona and intended to go get burgers at Bub's (pronounced Boobs) because they have the best burgers in Winona and I wanted one really bad. Well, they are closed on Sundays! WHAT!! I was disappointed and screamed I came from Florida for this! So after I stomped my feet, we decided to hit up Acoustic Cafe...the best sandwich and soup in Winona. I was a happy kid then!



Now the reason I went home was to see my friends Brynn and Karey get married! This was a very special wedding. It just proved that you don't need a certificate from a state to say you are married. If you wanna get married...just get married. I also felt this was special because I can honestly say that two best friends got married. I have a ton more pics but for some reason my computer is having issues with loading them....go figure on my technology issues lately. So enjoy this few and hopefully I can post more later!



And if you were wondering my house was perfectly fine from TS Fay. Now we are waiting on Hurricane Gustav to hit. We are just on the outter edge of the cone so it will just be rain and wind. But keep my friend Bonny and her family in your thoughts because they are in Pensacola right where the storm is heading. GOOD LUCK BZO and congrats on your first hurricane!

So I'm sitting in the Ft. Myers, FL airport on my way to Minnesota!! Yeah, that's right I get a break and it came with perfect timing! I had to bump it up a day because of Tropical Storm Fay. She's comming across Cuba right now and was expected to arrive here at Ft. Myers at 2 pm on Tuesday. Guess What!? My flight was leaving at 1 pm on Tuesday. So I cleaned up and locked up the house and office and my boss said call the airport and get a sooner flight! WHOO HOO! So here I am staring at the runway because I was up at 4:30 and of course you never sleep the night before you fly somewhere! So otherwise here is the latest update...

As you can see by no pics again...I still have no camera. I sent it in to get fixed and i hope they can fix it! But if I did have my camera this is where I would tell you that I went to the demolishion derby again and it was great. Erin and I painted part of a derby car and it ROCKS! But I would also have a pic of the derby car that started on Fire!!!! that was exciting!

Sadly that night had a horrible ending.... Erin and I were driving home, Erin was driving her brand new Scion. We were driving through panther habitat so the speed limit is 45 at night. We were both scanning the road and suddenly BOOF! we nailed a deer. This wasn't the typical 80 pound florida deer that is the size of a Labrador either. This was a huge deer. Even the cops said they were amazed at how big it was !!! So sadly, but also good, the only thing that needs to be fixed on the car is the driver side fender and the front fender. nothing else was damaged. Erin is upset but knows that it could have been worse.

um...lets see beside TS Fay, the derby, and the deer nothing else is happening right now. I am eager to get home and see my family and also Brynn! Can't wait to see all! I'll get a funsaver camera and get some pics of the week for all to view! Till later days!

so it's been awhile..

Sorry folks! I have really been slacking on the blogging. Part reason because I haven't really done anything. I had to lay low for a while to save money and pay some bills. Then the few times I went out nothing really happened.

NOW...I have broken my camera and can't even post the really cool pics that I DO have.

I went snorkeling last thursday with Erin and Gail. So image this...cool blue water, fins, snorkel in mouth. Bright colored fish and coral! So that is the picture you should paint in your head. I really enjoyed the day except for when my camera broke...that sucked.

So yesterday I was working at the front desk and in walks Miss Teen Florida. She was super tall because of the shoes she was wearing and really nice. She and her mom were touring Florida. So I got a pic using the park camera...so I can post that! She even has a pic with me! We're like BFF's now!! hahah...not really....so check out my one pic I can post!
